2017 Winter/Spring Wine Release Party

We will be debuting two new wines, and re-releasing an old favorite, all with attractive discounted pricing. Our Winemaker, Melissa Smith, has intermingled Grenache, Petite Sirah, and Alicante Bouschet to create our 2015 Tesoro D’Angelo Red Blend. This wine, which recently received the silver medal at the prestigious 2017 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition, overlays blackberry, plum, cherry, and strawberry flavors on top of a familiar and alluring, rhone-style black peppercorn spice bouquet. To complement this truly special red, we will be introducing our 2015 Papagni Pinot Grigio. This is our first Pinot Grigio to be aged in oak barrels, and Melissa has delivered a refreshing wine with crisp acidity, and a delightful lemon crème and vanilla bouquet. To cap off the evening’s offerings, we will be “re-releasing” the wine that has always been there, our 2001 Alicante Bouschet. Many of you are extremely familiar with our “flagship wine,” but, over the last 16 years, the characteristic black peppercorn spice, enhanced by satsuma plum and bing cherry flavors, has developed into one of the greatest vintages of a varietal Papagni has made since 1920. We decided to highlight this special wine for your enjoyment. Your 6-Packs (2 bottles of each wine) will be pre-packaged and ready for you to quaff and savor.
